This division is for singers that are still developing their vocal and stage technique and are ready for a very challenging experience to further aid them in their development as singing actors and performers. Studio artists will begin weekly concerts after the first week. Opera workshop class will be held twice weekly, culminating in a fully staged and costumed performance of scenes. During the first four weeks, each participant will receive up to 15 hours of Italian per week, two half-hour weekly coachings with Rossini Opera Festival coaches, and two forty-five minute voice lessons per week. During the fifth week of the program, there will be weekly Master Classes with resident faculty. In addition, each participant will be cast in an opera and will sing in one or both of the choruses for the mainstage productions.
