Young Artist Division

This division is for advanced singers that are ready to begin, or have already started, a professional career as an opera singer and performer. They will be asked to perform in the three weekly concerts, with an opportunity of additional concerts in additional venues with the faculty of La Musica Lirica. A select number of Young Artists will participate in four performances of the opera at theaters in the region. This opera is fully staged with costumes and piano. During the first four weeks, each participant will receive up to 15 hours of Italian per week, two half-hour weekly coachings with Rossini Opera Festival coaches and two forty-five minute voice lessons per week. During the fifth week of the program, there will be weekly Master Classes with resident faculty. Each participant may be asked to sing in the chorus of one of the main stage operas. This is not mandatory.
